Dear Mr. President,
Good day! I had never written a letter to a president before but I am honored and blessed that I have an opportunity to talk with you Mr. President.
Its been a year since you were elected to be the president of our country, Philippines. And because of you there are a lot of changes happened in our country within a year. Important implications for the human rights of the Philippine, extrajudicial and summary killings, I am concerned that your campaign rhetoric often advocated the killings of “criminals” and drug dealers. In cities across the Philippines, there are near-daily media reports of summary killings by unidentified attackers, often involving gunmen on motorcycles. Many of these killings are linked to local politicians, members of local police forces, and guns for hire contracted by local politicians or criminal syndicates. Police rarely make any arrests related to these attacks. In this extrajudicial killing, I encourage you to bring energy to protect and promote for human rights in everyone in the country.
Thank you for reading my letter Mr. President, I would appreciate the opportunity to speak my opinions on human right issue here in our country.

SIGNIFICANCE OF INDEPENDENCE DAY
We do attained our freedom in June 12, 1898. Filipinos celebrate it annually on July 12. And last June 12, 2018, we just celebrated the 120th year of our independence day. Since 1962 it is considered as a National Holiday.
Independence is one of the dream for every country. Why do we need to celebrate independence day? Filipinos commemorates the declaration of our right to freedom and independence by the colonization. It gives a learning to be educated and cultured. It brings honor and love for those who spent their lives seeking to end the abuse of Spanish, such as mutilation, gruesome death punishment, raped Filipino women, maltreatment and a lot more. The Late Emilio Aguinaldo, believed that a declaration of independence would inspire people to fight against the Spaniards, there so many people died in this war against them, they sacrifice their lives just to fight for our right, and at the same time lead other nations to recognized the independence of the Philippines, in other words, in honor to the heroes.
I hope that people will realize the importance of independence day here in our country. We have to pay and respect those sacrifices that they have done for us. We have to know the true meaning and the significance of Independence Day.
