Reflection;ICT 10

During our Grade 10 ICT, the whole school year, I have learned a lot of topics. I learned on how to create a web page. How to insert  a link, images, ect. Second the use of photoshop. Third the topic all about internet. Fourth, the history of computer ofcpurse. Internet can really change our lives. Until now we are still using the blog as we post about alot and different topics. These are just some of our lessons and activities that I have learned  and created in our ICT 10.

                 

Everyone has problems to face but as a student one of the challenges that I have encountered is how to use the photoshop because I dont have alot of idea about this. Yes, photoshop first introduced to me when I am at Grade 8 and yet I cannot remember all of the topic we have discussed. 

Moving on, I will be sharing my ideas about  these topics and those knowledge that I have gained. So in our ICT 10, is good and interesting.

Apocalypse

Ilocos Sur National Highschool always celebrates the foundation day every year. This is one of the most awaited occasion in the school.  There are alot of activities that Ilocos Sur National Highschool offers. 

As years passes by, the foundation day of Ilocos Sur National Highschool loses the real essence of the foundation day. Yes, we celebrate it but its not like what it was before. This should be a enjoyable, stress-free activity. It is not about the acknowledging of the legacy of the school, it became a dance showdown, which the forced students dance at the middle of the sun? Isnt it its just a meaningless activity? 

Hopefully, next school year the foundation will be enjoyable and stress-free to the students and bring back the old and fun foundation day of Ilocos Sur National Highschool.

Its me

Every January, I see an influx of people admitting they’ve failed their resolutions just a few days in. People vow to hit the gym as soon as the festive season is over. They promise to eat healthily, to quit smoking.

I dont do new year's resolution because I know in myself that I wont be able to do it. Instead I just be with myself and grow the positivity in life and be a stronger woman I can be. 

This is the only way we’re able to actually change our bodies and our lifestyles and stick to it knowing that there’s no rush, that you have time and that you’re not a failure if it takes you longer than you thought.

Betterment

Change happens whether we like it or no and regardless of whether we do anything about it. Tomorrow will be different than today. We can resist, but that is a bit like standing in a river and trying it hold back the water.

Change really starts with me and attend my own personal development. In doing so problems give way to solutions and no longer affect me. I have to heal myself first and be mindful of my thoughts leading down to a path of negativity. I will break the nonstop thinking that dictates there is something wrong with the world. It is worth the effort of personal growth.

10 Years From Now

Live your values, Pursue your dreams, and Follow Your Passion". This is really the true ways I must do to have a better life and best future I could possibly have. Seeing around the Earth, we find all kinds of people who exist. I think those people do have difference from each other, the others might be hard in the task of studying, which influence them to be different. I am lucky the among them so I know that it is my dream.

My existence here in this world, I would like to achieve such things: be a successful person, help my loving parents, siblings and serve my fellows. I have been intoxicate by my dream, it is the goal, the aim and the direction of my life.

At first, I could hardly decide what I want to be in the future there are so many choices painted on my mind and I can't decide well, because I am at the Grade 10 already I have to make decision. Specifically my choice in college, my profession. With all the sacrifices and sweat of my parents exerting just to send me in school.

At that time that I have a job, I have something to feel proud of me because I have reached what I deserve in life. I would like to give my parents the best life they could wish for. I would like to see them feel so comfortable and see the sweet smiles on their faces.

This really shows the sympathy and good heart for others. Simple dreams are worth living for me. I, together with my parents, have simple meaning of life, because of determination, strong faith to God, good values and virtues, I  assure that you will have the best of life in the future, not because of comfort but because of the richness of love, compassion for people and passion for God. these are my dreams, my inspiration which I have to work on the future.

Pride of Ilocano culture!

Ilocos Sur is a beautiful province located in the northern part of Luzon. It is a province rich in culture that represents the ancient Spanish and Filipino heritage. To show and share their treasures to the whole world, the locals conceived a festival that highlights these cultural traditions and they called it the “Kannadiwan Festival”.

It is a celebration that celebrates from last of January to first week of February. It includes the event of commemoration of the foundation of the province, Ilocos Sur. The other ancestral cultural activities in the festival include the zarzuela show, traditional games and pallot or cock games.The festival is also a show of the province’s trade and agriculture products, and is a livelihood training ground for women and students through the Department of Trade and Industry and Department of Agriculture.

To show how part of the culture of the people of Ilocos Sur has modified through the years, the festival offers  these activities to the new generation:  dance craze, battle of the bands, Mr Kannawidan muscle showdown, Search for Saniata, car and motorcycle show, street dancing and showdown that show off the one-town-one-products of the 34 towns and cities of the province, horse racing, chef wars, rodeo fiesta, game fowl and pigeon expo, rhythm festival,3rd Gov Ryan Singson Motrocross Cup, Kannawidan Mini Fwd Race, karambola, and drag race, among others. 

The abel Iloco is also given the spotlight  during the fashion show, the evening gown competition of the Search for Saniata, and the period dinner and Father Burgos Awards night at the famous Calle Mena Crisologo, named after the provincial governor from 1901 to 1906, Mena Pecson Crisologo, a great Ilocano writer.  

The old and the new in Ilocano culture are both featured in this year’s Kannawidan Ylocos Festival -  the festival of Ilocos Sur that celebrates its being a separate province and its being a treasure chest of traditions and culture.

Refletion(Third Quarter)

During our Grade 10 ICT, third quarter, I have learned a lot of topics. I learned on how to create a web page. How to insert  a link, images, ect. Second is the HTML tags and how to create a HTML file which I enjoyed so much, we have a lot of exercises and activities regarding this topic. We also discussed how the tags will be written and its function in HTML. Internet can really change our lives. Until now we are still using the blog as we post our insights about the gender equality and the essence of Christmas. These are just some of our lessons and activities that I have learned  and created in our second quarter ICT 10.

                 

Everyone has problems to face but as a student one of the challenges that I have encountered is to encode HTML because it was my first time and I do not have any idea about these. It was so hard for me as a student.

Moving on, I will be sharing my ideas about  these topics and those knowledge that I have gained. So in our ICT 10, Second quarter is good and interesting and so with the two more quarters.
